Why we run this
Photographers trust photographers.
Handing your gallery to an editing company is a trust decision, not a price decision. A wedding cannot be reshot. No advertisement settles that question — but a photographer you already respect saying “I use them, they are fine” settles it immediately.
Around 1,200 photographers already send us work. If even a handful of them mention us to someone who needs the help, that is worth considerably more to us than the equivalent spend on ads — so we would rather pay it to you.
One condition, and it is on us, not you: only refer people if the work has actually been good. A referral that goes badly costs you more than $25.

Tell a photographer about us
Someone who is drowning in a backlog, or paying more than they need to. No script, no affiliate copy to paste — say whatever you actually think of the work.

They name you when they sign up
The free trial form has a "Who referred you?" field. They type your name or your studio name. That is the whole mechanism — nothing to generate, nothing to track.

You both get $25
They get $25 off their first order. You get $25 credit once that order is delivered and paid. We email you both when it lands.

No limit on referrals
Refer two photographers or twenty. Every one of them earns you $25 — there is no cap and no tier you have to reach first.
Credit, not cash
The $25 lands as credit against your next invoice. It does not expire, and it stacks — three referrals sitting unused is $75 off whenever you next send a gallery.
Paid on delivery, not signup
Credit applies once the photographer you referred has had a first order delivered and paid for. That keeps the programme honest and means we are rewarding real work, not form fills.
New photographers only
The person you refer has to be new to us — not an existing client, and not a second account for a studio that already sends us work.

Common Questions
Referral program questions
How much do I get for referring a photographer?
You receive $25 in editing credit for every photographer you refer, and the photographer you refer gets $25 off their first order. There is no cap on how many people you can refer.
How does Pinnacle Edits know I referred someone?
The free trial registration form has a "Who referred you?" field. The photographer you referred types your name or your studio name into it, and our team matches that against your account. There is no code to generate and no link to share.
When does the credit actually appear?
Once the photographer you referred has had their first order delivered and paid for. We apply it to your account and email you to say it has landed. Referrals that never place a paid order do not earn credit.
Can I take the $25 as cash instead of credit?
No. The reward is credit against your Pinnacle Edits invoices. It does not expire and it accumulates, so unused referral credit simply reduces whatever you send us next.
Is there a limit on how many photographers I can refer?
No limit. Each new photographer who places a first paid order earns you another $25, however many that turns out to be.
What if the photographer forgets to name me?
Email support@pinnacleedits.com with their name and the approximate date they signed up. As long as their first order has not already been invoiced and closed, we will attach the referral and apply both credits.
Can I refer someone who already has an account with you?
No. The referral applies to photographers who are new to Pinnacle Edits. A second account opened by a studio that already sends us work does not qualify.
Do I need to be an existing client to refer someone?
To receive credit, yes — the credit is applied against your own invoices, so you need an account for it to sit in. If you are not a client yet, start with the free trial and you can refer people from your first order onwards.
