If you already run an AI editor, trained on your own catalogue it will take a wedding gallery a long way in minutes. That pass is yours, run on your side with your own tool. We do not use AI on client images ourselves: every image we touch is edited by hand by a person. But we are not here to talk you out of your tool either.
But the last stretch is stubborn, and it is stubborn in predictable places. Crops go to the detected subject, which quietly centres people you deliberately placed off-centre. Straightening averages the frame rather than picking the line a human would. Skin smoothing runs at one strength across every face in the gallery. And mixed lighting — tungsten reception, stained glass, a marquee at dusk — is where colour profiles fall apart most visibly.
The result is a gallery that is eighty percent finished and still needs a person on every frame, which is exactly the work you bought the tool to stop doing. Handing that last stretch to our editors costs less than spending your own evenings on it. How is hand finishing after AI priced?
Two tiers. Finishing Only covers cropping, straightening, subject masking and natural skin work, all by hand. Finishing + Manual Colour adds colour correction by hand on top. Both are quoted per gallery: send a sample set and we will price it.
Which tier do I need?
If your AI profile already gets colour right in your usual venues, take Finishing Only. If mixed lighting keeps breaking it — tungsten receptions, stained glass, marquees at dusk — take Finishing + Manual Colour and have colour set by hand. Most wedding work needs the second.
Do I have to stop using my AI tool?
No. Keep your tool and your trained profile and run your pass exactly as you do now; that step stays yours. Our editors start where it finishes, by hand. We are fixing the last stretch, not replacing what you already pay for.
What does AI actually get wrong?
Predictable things. Crops go to the detected subject, so anyone deliberately placed off-centre gets recentred. Straightening averages the frame instead of picking the line that matters. Skin smoothing runs at one strength across every face. And mixed lighting is where colour profiles fail most visibly.
Will the skin still look natural?
Yes. Skin is worked by hand per image and kept well short of the uniform finish batch AI produces at a single strength. If your AI pass has already over-smoothed a gallery, tell us and we will work from the originals instead.
Can you handle a whole wedding gallery?
Yes, and it is priced for exactly that. Send the full exported set rather than selects. The point of your AI pass was volume, and our editors are staffed to finish it by hand at that volume.
How is this different from your standard colour correction?
Standard wedding colour correction is the whole edit done by hand from your RAWs. This is hand finishing after your own AI pass, so it costs less and assumes your tool already did the bulk. Which is cheaper depends on how good your profile is.
What files should I send?
Your exported AI-processed gallery. If you also have the original RAWs, send a link to those too — occasionally a frame is better rescued from source than corrected after the fact, and we will tell you when that is the case.
Do you use AI on my photos?
No. Every image is edited by hand by a person. We never use AI auto-editors, AI culling or generative AI on your photos. The only AI involved is the pass you run yourself, in your own software, before the gallery reaches us. Everything after that is our editors working image by image.
Does this work with Imagen, Aftershoot or Lightroom?
Yes, and with anything else. We work from your exported gallery, not from your software, so there is no plugin, no integration and no account to connect. Export the way you already do and send the folder. That applies equally to Imagen, Aftershoot, Narrative, FilterPixel, ON1, Lightroom profiles or your own presets.
Can you do the culling too?
Yes, by hand rather than by tool, using star ratings in Lightroom. Plenty of photographers run an AI culler themselves and send us only the finishing. Both are fine, and you can hand over as much or as little of the workflow as you want.
Can I see it on my own gallery first?
