Outsourcing questions
How much does it cost to outsource photo editing?
It depends on the work. Wedding and event colour correction starts at $0.12 per image, image extraction at $0.25, retouching at $0.50, real estate at $0.45, and photo restoration at $3.50 per photo. If you have steady volume, a dedicated editor is $600 per month part-time or $1,100 full-time, which usually works out cheaper than per-image pricing above roughly 2,000 images a month.
Can I outsource Photoshop retouching specifically?
Yes. Our editors work in Photoshop and Lightroom, and we take layered PSD work — frequency separation, dodge and burn, compositing, masking and ghost mannequin. Send your PSDs or your RAWs and tell us which stage you want back.
Will the edits match my style?
That is what the dedicated editor model is for. Send reference edits, presets or a previously delivered gallery and your editor works to them. They stay on your account, so consistency improves rather than resetting with each batch.
How fast is the turnaround on outsourced editing?
Most orders are delivered within 24 to 48 hours, including large batches, because the work is split across a team rather than queued behind one editor. Rush turnaround is available on request.
Is it safe to send client images to an outsourcing company?
We sign an NDA on request, follow GDPR-compliant handling practices, and transfer files encrypted through Dropbox, WeTransfer or Google Drive. Your images are used for your job only — we do not publish client work without written permission.
Can I test the quality before committing?
Yes. New clients get a free trial batch — send a representative set of images with your brief and you get them back professionally edited, with no card required and no obligation to continue.
What file formats do you work with and deliver?
We accept RAW files from all major camera systems, plus JPEG, TIFF and layered PSD. Delivery is in JPEG, TIFF or PSD, at whatever resolution and colour space your workflow needs.
Do you handle bulk and recurring volume?
Yes. Batches run from 50 to 10,000+ images, and studios with ongoing volume typically move to a dedicated editor or a dedicated team so capacity is reserved rather than shared.
